Well, many of my favorite success coaches have always said to work on one thing at a time. And I thought I was... You know, I'll just look up some stuff, while I'm waiting on some answers over here... and then I'll just call these people and get this thing started while I have a bit of a lull... and then, well, I could start investigating these things, I've needed to update that such-and-such for months now!
And guess what? I wasn't focusing on one thing at a time. I was focusing on everything all at once. Like I was drowning in the ocean and just grasping for everything I thought might "save me". But I'm glad I was able to stand aside and see what was going on. I'm going to take a better approach to this new creative business thing and slow down the pace...
One. Thing. At. A. Time.
This is GREAT advice. Well Wishes
ReplyDeleteAh Renee, I am the same way!! I am MORE busy than I was working at the store, and I tend to be a bit scatter-brained, so that's probably not a good thing!! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's HARD for me to concentrate on one thing at a time, but it sure is excellent advice, isn't it!!!
